One Urogynecology and Reconstructive Pelvic Surgery Fellowship position is available annually with a start date of August 1.

Eligibility

International medical graduates must be Educational Commission for Foreign Medical Graduates-certified prior to applying. The program will consider sponsorship for J-1 visas only. 

Application Procedure

Applications are accepted exclusively through the Electronic Residency Application Service. One fellowship spot is offered through the National Resident Matching Program.

To be considered complete, applications must include the following: 

  • Current curriculum vitae.
  • All United States Medical Licensing Examination score reports.
  • A personal statement.
  • Three letters of recommendation (including one from the residency program director).
  • An ECFMG certificate, if applicable. 

In addition, Council on Resident Education in Obstetrics and Gynecology score reports must be submitted via email at the time of application.

The program participates in the National Resident Matching Program and complies with all NRMP policies and procedures. For any questions regarding the program or application process, please contact the fellowship director or program coordinator at urogyn@austin.utexas.edu.

Interview Process

Candidates selected to interview will be contacted by the fellowship coordinator via email. Interviews will be conducted in a virtual format.
