Emerging Research Support
Emerging research teams attending the open house may apply for $50,000 in fiscal support for projects that aim to uncover mechanisms of disease, target the development of therapeutics and/or identify new therapeutic approaches or diagnostic tools. The award may be applied toward participant compensation and laboratory-based materials. Ascension physicians may also be eligible for a portion of their salary effort to ensure adequate protected time to devote to research. A study coordinator will be provided for biobanking and regulatory logistics if needed.
