About
Jennifer Travieso, M.D., is an assistant professor in the Department of Women’s Health at Dell Medical School and a practicing minimally invasive gynecologic specialist within Ascension Seton and UT Health Austin.
Travieso completed her medical degree and residency in obstetrics and gynecology with the Washington University School of Medicine in St. Louis, where she was the chief administrative resident. She then went on to complete a fellowship in minimally invasive gynecologic surgery at the University of Michigan Health System in Ann Arbor.
Travieso has received a number of honors and awards, including the American Association of Gynecologic Laparoscopists Recognition of Excellence in Minimally Invasive Gynecology and the Society for Laparoendoscopic Surgeons Resident Achievement Award. Travieso is a part of the Alpha Omega Alpha Honor Society and is an active member of the International Pelvic Pain Society and the American Association of Gynecologic Laparoscopists. Travieso has several peer-reviewed publications and has been invited to speak and present at a number of American Association of Gynecologic Laparoscopists conferences.
