Denise L. Johnson, M.D., is an assistant professor in the Department of Women’s Health.
She received her medical degree from Columbia University, College of Physicians and Surgeons and completed her obstetrics and gynecology residency at the Hospital of the University of Pennsylvania.
Her professional interests include gynecologic surgery as well as patient safety and quality assurance. She also has an interest in global health, most recently completing an OBGYN elective in Botswana.
Johnson is a native Texan, originally from Houston. In her spare time, she enjoys exploring the food and music scene in Austin.
