About
Bri Tristan, M.D., came to Dell Medical School from New York University School of Medicine, where she was an assistant professor in obstetrics and gynecology. She received her medical degree from Washington University School of Medicine and completed a residency in obstetrics and gynecology at New York University School of Medicine. She then went on to complete her fellowship in family planning and a master’s in health sciences at the University of Chicago Pritzker School of Medicine. Tristan has been appointed program director of the obstetrics and gynecology residency program.
Tristan’s research focuses on long-acting reversible contraception and residency education. Her work has been published in high-impact journals such as Contraception, the American Journal of Public Health and The Journal of Reproductive Medicine. She has been invited to make presentations at both the regional and national level.
